Digital art

In the example of new age media we see that art has changed from its simple material base to the digital monster it has become. Our cultures sense of appreciation, and kinds of art it gears its attention towards has completely changed. People can be creative and express themselves in any number of ways. Art can no longer be only attached to real material object it can now transcend the physical limits to the digital format. Recently a 7.5 minute loop of animations by Jeremy Blake was sold to collectors for 20,000 dollars. Art is changing along with the way we appreciate it. There is no arguing this fact. People will always be interested in forms of art, and I feel that people's interest in art will always help form it into the future form it will be.
