Anita Dunn, the current white house communications director, has been quoted saying "We're going to treat them (Fox News) the way we would treat an opponent. As they are undertaking a war against Barack Obama and the White House, we don't need to pretend that this is the way that legitimate news organizations behave."
With anchors such as Sean Hannity, Bill O'Riley, and conservative talk show host Glen Beck it is not a surprise that Fox News gets a reputation of leaning towards the right on certain issues. Seth Ackerman author of the article "The Most Bias Name in News" reports "Since its 1996 launch, Fox has become a central hub of the conservative movement's well-oiled media machine."
The media bias debate carries on as Political figure-heads will continue to try and persuade the public that prejustice floods the national news networks. So who can we trust?
