Innovation in Art

This video shows how fine art and video editing can go hand in hand to make a very creative work of art. The outcome is interactive, as the artwork is brought to life by the editors skillfull techniques. When David Ellis and Blu come together creating this video the viewer is able to discover a truly original form of art. Something that probably will be able to inspire more modern art to use technologies that are becoming available to the artists advantage. When I think about the traditional drawing, sketching, painting aspect of art, I feel as though it has been done for hundreds of years and even when an artist feels as though he/she may have an original piece, the reality is that someone has more than likely done something very similar. This limits the ability for an artist to expand on something unique. However, this video kind of opens up a new discovery of art that can allow artists to expand on this idea and make artwork that is truly innovative in the near future.
