Many believe that birthday parties should be a simple celebration. The average family cant afford to spend an absurd amount of money to celebrate one’s 16th birthday. If you want my honest opinion; if you have the money then my all means you should celebrate that birthday and go all for it. In this youtube clip I found; it shows Miley Cyrus celebrating her 16th birthday at Disney land. Her party cost over a million dollars, but what many don’t understand is that her birthday was a fundraiser to raise money for a charity. How many 16 year old teenagers have the ambition to sacrifice their own birthday party to raise money. In my opinion birthday parties a celebration; a celebration is meant to gather people around to celebrate a happy moment.
