Interview Summary

It was very clear after interviewing Bob that sports are a huge part of his life. Born in Dayton, Ohio, some of Bob’s fondest childhood memories are of him on the gridiron playing football or on the hardwood playing basketball. He played these sports throughout high school, where he enjoyed hanging out with friends and watching sports in his free time. His passion for athletics carried over into Ohio University, where he’s majoring in Sports Management. He chose to come to OU because his brother recently graduated from here, and he hopes to be living in Charlotte, North Carolina doing marketing or promotions for a pro sports team. Bob chose to be interviewed at the Ping Center, and after I asked him why he chose the location he replied by saying “I often relive my days on the court here.” Without sports, I believe Bob would be a very different person. Sports are more than just a game to Bob, they’re a part of his everyday life. His favorite memories, current hobbies, and future goals all revolve around sports. Bob’s future will almost certainly involve sports and hopefully he will land his dream job with a professional sports organization.
